rough idle stalled 1 time

im having a rough idle sometimes when i start my gas. my idle rpms will go from around 300-1000. and once they went down to 100 and it stalled. it only does this when rough and when i give i gas it usually stops. could it be a bad fuel pump? a fpr (regulator)? or bad gas perhaps?

I would look first at the IAC. This same thing happened on both my Ex and Ranger. Same symptoms.
