rough running

Gents,

My ex is dual fuel, on gas it runs fine, but when on petrol sometimes the engine wont pick up just ticks over at 750 revs no power etc then all of a sudden runs fine I have put some injection cleaner in the tank and running around on petrol for a few days just to see if cures it.

Got a fuel pressure tester??
Changed the fuel filter recently?
Is there a part of the gas system that shuts off the petrol supply that might be sticking closed?

fuel filter not changed, as I got one but its different than the one fitted.

I had a similar problem, tracked it back to the LPG wiring loom that connects the injectors to the emulator, 2 bad connections on the injectors and into the Ford loom, contact cleaner solved the problem

if you want to test this out, you can use a multi-meter to test the resistance of each by disconnecting the cable from the emulator box and probing the plug, If memory serves me right the nornam resistance is about 13 ohms for each injector with a bad connection being higher
