- 2004 Explorer XLT
I have a 2004 Explorer and when I make a left or right turn onto say another road there is a rough vibrating sound during the turn, this is more so when I make a sharp turn either in forward or reverse. This sound subsided when I'm going straight or the angle of the turn is a lot less. Sometimes when I back out in reverse from a parking space with a sharp turn I get a clunk sound with like a jerk.
Any Ideas, my Explorer seems to be falling apart now that my warranty just went out.
Also it seems like it might be stuck in 4H for some reason after I had used it earlier this winter.
Then there are my brakes when going 50+ mph and I have to slow down or stop the brakes vibrate the vehicle when I'm stopping, not problem stopping but that vibration is not right.
Thanks for any help.
