So this will be my 5th Explorer. I've owned a 00' Eddie Bauer V8, a 99 OHV 2wd, an 01 Limited V8, and most recently, a heavily modified 94 prerunner.
I sought out this specific combination for over a month. I am very picky about cleanliness. I needed 4x4, and I did not want to mess with a transfer case swap with a V8. So here is my spec list of the "perfect" Explorer that I was finally able to find.

Debating on 2.0" coilovers, or a larger 2.5" shock while keeping the torsion bars
Rear suspension -
Home built lift shackle
2.5x10" shocks
Misc -
Custom roof rack
20" led bar in the front bumper
Front valance/fog light delete
Tint front windows & rear glass
265/75R16 all terrains
Maybe a nice set of wheels at some point
Nice stereo
Hand held vhf radio mount
Good tablet and phone mounts
Upgraded headlights
