What should the rpms's go to at start-up?
I have a 2004 4.0 Ford Explorer. Warm or cold when the engine is started,
the rpm's go to 1900. It then returns to normal idle (around 800).
No problems with check engine light, codes, or runnability.
The ecm has been flashed a few times at differant dealers.
Dealers flash the ecm, then say this is normal.
What do your Explorers rpm's go to at start-up?
I'm thinking this is a little high, especially here in Ohio. Cold winters, no oil
pressure. Bam 1900 rpms.
