running board rust

My 04 Ranger is showing rust on the running boards. I saw a sticky on a Ranger forum somewhere, but I cannot find it. Any body got an idea on how to do a strip and repaint?

Gets some paint stripper and strip the paint off. Its messy wear rubber gloves and protective eye goggles. I would remove it off the truck do it on the lawn or driveway. Or you could do Plastic-Dip. You wouldn't have to strip the old paint. Just maybe de-rust it clean it up then just spray the Plasti-dip.
