running boards on 2001 sport

where are the holes to bolt the running boards to? How many sets of holes are there? I have stock running boards

The side steps bolt to the side of the underbody sheetmetal on the vertical wall. I'm pretty sure there 3 brackets per step with 3 bolts in each bracket to the body. I doubt they're any different than earlier generations, although it seems the engineers like to change things for no good reason...
