Running on DiabloSport

I recently installed a DiabloSport chip on my 5.0 Mountaineer. Pretty nice results. However, I am still using my stock thermostat. I bought a 180 degree thermostat, but replacing the thermostat is pretty irritating and not very friendly. Do you guys think I'll be ok running my Mountaineer w/ Diablo w/out 180 thermostat?

probably be fine. Remember the thermostat only controls the minimum operating tempature, not the normal or maximum tempature.

Personally I would install it, it's not that bad, especially on a 5.0! You should try it on the OHV 4.0L's!!!!!

i changed the one on my 5 liter, and its not as bad as it looks. as long as you run premium fuel, you'll be ok with the stocker, but you might as well change it to a 180. not a hard job.
