I am sure that today's ramps are much better; I will look into that.
BTW, I did use a single "puck" today, to raise-up each of the 4 lifting points, while swapping-out my two sets of tires. While its use did leave a bit of an impression in the one puck I used, it looks to me like I will be able to get at least a few other uses out of these things, before they get so chewed-up that they need to be discarded. (I've got a total of 4 of them, so I will be set for at least a little while).
Check out the attached photos after I used it; again, I used only this one puck to lift the car 4 times (once at each tire)...
