You get $60 dollars off any set of Michelins or Bridgestones. I just bought a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T p235/75/15 for $317 including tax, installation and disposal. Also includes lifetime rotation, balancing and flat fix for free! I think its a great deal!

Do they have good selection of winter tires at Costco? I've been going around looking for this size- 215/70-16. It has to be winter tires because its going to be used only during that time. Tirerack don't have this size.

New RANT re CostCo

I love the sale BUT my wife just called and CostCo will not put the LTX M/S on my stock 97 EB. They said since the max PSI goes up to 45, they will not put them on. Will only do the LTX A/T or Cross Terrain, ARRGGHHHH.

Just for principle, I am upset because last week they said there was no problem with the M/S.
Such a pain...

You know I just went out to the parking lot and found the LTX M/S on a SUV and the MAX rating is 35psi. I checked Michelin's website and saw the same. This is a question of principle, the LTX and Cross Terrain are the same according to everything I can find, Costco manager just juiced me to spend $14 more per tire?

Well I hope that Costco doesn't give me any trouble about mounting the Duelers as they are the exact same size as stock. I did not check to see the PSI but if it exceeds stock I will cross my heart and promise them that I will never exceed the recommended psi from Ford.

Wow good deal on tires considering that price includes everything!
Whats the difference betwen the Michelin or Bridgestone tires with the P235 vs the LT235 rating? I know it stands for light truck and passenger but is there a problem putting the passenger version on an explorer? Does the light truck version have more plys or something?

Jason

lt is a heavier duty tire with more sidewall plys, it will support more weight and hold more air pressure... in general, if its a street x dont put an lt on it, it wont ride smoothly... if you tow say a 30' trailer, the lts will help out when its loaded but suck unloaded....
