Solved School Me (and you?!) On Viscous Couplings (BW4404)

Prefix for threads that contain problems that have been resolved, and there is an answer within the thread.
I think your clicking noise probably the CV style joint on the front driveshaft. My '02 Mountaineer was making a similar noise so the guy I bought it from sold it pretty cheap. It has a locked up VC and that CV joint was the week link that failed. I had the front driveshaft rebuilt and the noise went away. Still feels like I'm driving in 4wd so I know I need to replace the VC. Ordered one from www.stecouplers.com for $270 shipped with a return shipping label for the core.
