Anyone having any issues with the windows scratching? I noticed a couple of hairline scratches on my wifes drivers side window. I didnt think glass was easily scratched, she said all she did was lower the window the other day.
Ive also noticed, whenever you roll down the windows, it leaves a oily streak across the whole window, I guess thats just lubricate?

It's probably actual scratches, I've always believed that scratching automotive glass was "impossible" but when I had to remove the tint on my 99 X I had scratched the crap out of them due to a ticket. I also scratched my windshield with a ice scraper as well.

Well, by ice scraper I mean a metal shovel, but still, I had always though automotive glass was unscratchable.

Anyone experiencing the windshield having marks thruout the window as if it was sandblasted or sprayed with something? It is noticeable only when the sun is low in the sky and shining on the windshield. My wife deccribes it as looking like sparklies . They are even and thruout the whole window.

I don't have my Ex yet..but last yr I bought a new car & noticed right away the windshield looked like it was about 3 yrs old. I'm told this is now normal & helps with glare. I'm still not used to it & think my windshield is dirty!

I think Ford's recycling parts or something. My driveshafts came pre rusted... What a great add on...

Didn't Ford do something to the windows to help with noise? I don't recall if they coated them with something or laminated something on, but I know something was done - unless it's just a normal practice that they talked up as "special" in their marketing.

There's definetly some kind of Something under the felt where the windows recede into the door. Was washing them today and I felt in between there it felt like a jelly. Still no idea how the scratches got there. Well see what the dealer says this week
