Anyone know what the back seat is made of besides foam? I need to screw into the vertical part to mount some things and need to know if it is metal or wood. thanks.

I'm pretty sure the frame inside is metal there cowboy. ;)

I'd much rather have sex in a bed than the back seat, but that's just me.

are you planning on screwing into the seat itself? or the flat part that folds down when the seat is folded? also, remember that it isnt a good idea to screw stuff into that, as if you try to lower the seat the screws will rip into the back of the seat... thats why one side is smooth...

not into the flat part that covers the gap when the seat is folded down, I'm removing that. I'm screwing into the seat itself.

its got leather before anything, and foam underneath that... so i doubt screws are going to work.....

maybe you don't understand...I'm going into the back of the back seat...the side where the carpet is...

Wow. Thread title is a little misleading.

I have my amps screwed into each section, no problem.

Really couldn't tell ya, my friend put them in. The amps have been there for over a year and no problems, sorry.

I have screws in the back of mine also. I think they are wood screws.

Put the amp under the rear seat. If someone broke in it would be very easy to steal an amp hanging from your seat.
