SCT SF3 & ford explorer....

Brand new SCT SF3, updated fine, saved stock program, and then wrote canned strategy tune. all seemed fine and engine runs great. I planned to mainly use the code reader and change rev/mile once I get new rubber...the tunes are a bonus!!!

is it as easy as just picking the Explorer 4.0L tune and writing?
is the tune based on the octane?
what options would you change, if any - or are they set based on octane?

I guess I was expecting to see 3 files listed under my vehicle, mild, mod, race sort of thing, and not just "write file" with default options.
manual/guide from sct was not much help.

Who did you purchase the device from? Usually if I send a device out I will load with custom tunes as well as the device having the preloaded tunes as well.

what year is the vehicle you are trying to change the tire sizing on. Basically if it is not a Gen2 '99 newer or Gen 3 Explorer you won't be able to able to change the tire sizing or gear ratio as this is calculated by the ABS system-j
