To my great surprise I've finally found the legendary engine cleaner up here in Canada during a visit to a local CarQuest auto parts store (I was actually looking for something completely unrelated when I came across it). The standard cleaner was $12 CDN (the one you pour into the TB, oil or gas tank for cleaning), but they also had a transmission Seafoam and another one for some other application (I didn't check what exactly). I just thought it would be a good idea to post this find since a lot of fellow countrymen here seemed to be asking where they could find it not long ago (NAPA, Canadian Tire, and others over here never even heard of Seafoam, I checked).
After getting home with the seafoam, I immediately used about 1/2 the can by slowly pouring it into the engine through the brake booster line (with a funnel) - it made a small cloud of smoke for a few seconds (not as much as I expected), then the smoke started dissipating and everything was normal after about 40 seconds. I didn't really notice that much of a diffrence, but perhaps my mileage will tell otherwise. I'll try to post an update once I calculate mileage after the Seafoam treatment.
