It came to my mind seeing on other vehicle forums(Saturn specifically) that they take the camcover off and soak the cylinders with MMO or SeaFoam....then change the oil to get all the crap the seafoam washed out....and then smoke the world to death with a nicer running engine....
I don't know if it's possible but could I(4.0 SOHC) wash some down the ports of the lower intake and sort of do the same thing.....or is this asking for trouble.....I was just curious and had to clean the oil as much as I could see off of them....now I am just waiting to find the part and have someone get it down here for me or my damn foot to stop hurting so I can drive more than 20 or 30 minutes and I will go get the PCV Valve and the PCV hose elbow that goes into the intake manifold.......Ford Dealer down here said they don't know what part of the pcv line it is but they have PCV hose in their computer for 45 bucks.......but nothing is in stock.....I would love to peek into their parts store/warehouse and see if there is one part in there....they never had anything for my Ford Escape either......I have the Ford Service Manual for the 2002 trucks on cd...but I cannot find the length or diameter of the hose elbow.....I know what the PCV valve looks like and where I can order that from down here......
