well .. i thought about it and .... i dont think i can make a box......it looks to hard...... I will spend money .. and make some low quality box....

I found this site .. they make boxes for you ... it looks pretty good

they would make me a dual box with 1FT3 for each sub, only 133 with shipping

the site is http://www.klausaudio.com/category.cfm?categoryid=19&linkid=41

does anyone have comments about this site????

Oh yea what do i put for "Subwoofer Displacment" or just leave it blanK?

thanks

building a sealed box is super easy and should cost under $40.

if you're interested in making your own box email me and i can design one for you

I have a question... in my sub manual it tells me that one sub need 1.00sq Feet
but my Subwoofer Displacement is .79ft sq ... soo reallly the box will be 1.79sq feet per sub.... but when the sub is in .. it will be 1.00ft sq

is this right??

thats correct..unless you invert mount the sub

Where did you get .79 cu. ft. for the driver displacement? Sure it's not .079? I think the usual range for a 12" sub is something like .05 - .15.

actually, according to the manual you posted, the 1.0 cu. ft. includes the driver displacement.

most will be 1.0 cu. ft. of space total, i built my box for like 50 and some change, that included MDF, screws, paint, sealer, carpet the works,& poly fill,. and i know for a fact its way better then what someone would have built for me, for WAYYY more money, here is a link, has a few pictures, took me a whole sat. to build if u include letting the paint dry, which i did after the pics on the inside to make for a better seal.

IMO , do it urself, u know u'll have it done right and can make it just the way u want , for space saving purposes or just looks
