Budwich, you are correct. I just installed the door latch switch and dis-assembled my fix for the window. I tested, and proved you right. I re-assembled and life is good. BTW, the fix, or bypass for the windows is to tap into the blue and black wire in the driver's door window control. I ran 10 guge wire with a fuse to positive post of battery. The pluse is that the windows can work without the key. Anyway, I believe my confusion came from two problems happening at the same time. Possibly, the door latch went before I ran into the power window problem. Looking back, I probably didn't notice it until the windows stopped working.
