seat belt warning DING!!

new guy here. I recently baught an 02 Explorer Eddie Bauer, there are a few minor?? issues. one is the passenger ( I beleive) seat belt dings for a while and finally shuts off. I am not sure how to test for it to ID if it is the passenger side.
and the other is upper ball joint replacement which I found on here and very pleased to see that i will be able to do this one myself.

Wouldn't it be the drivers side? Or do the 3rd gens have a weight sensor on the passenger side?

I am not sure if it has a weight sensor, I guess i could look under the seat for one. and replace it and see if that takes care of it.

My '02 does not have a weight sensor for the passenger seat.

Maybe his does since it's an eddie bauer?
It could also be in the back of the seat, thats where it is in my mom's civic. So everytime you lean forward the side air bag turns off. (Great idea huh) Might wanna ask the ford dealership
