seat belt pre-tensioner being blown on the salvage yard seats would do it. Don't know if the pre-tensioner is on the pillar or seat for the EX, but that's the common issue when swapping

In addition to the above replies, sometimes the cause for that light to be on is due to a bad connection/connector under the front seat. I'm guessing you put them in an XLT (profile shows lt)?
