Seat question...

i have my 96 xl, which the seats suck and are very uncomfortable, my question is will first generation seats bolt up to the second generation?? ive been looking around and found some really nice seats at the junkyard and was just wondering what would fit..

and with a little work most Explorer Ranger seats will interchange.


I haev 97 Exploder seats in my 88, just required some simple brackets.
Sport seats are slightly different bolt pattern then 4 door, etc.

410, 2dr and 4dr have the Same seat pattern. I had my put my 4.dr seats in my navajo one time when I had to take every thing out to Clean it.
