Yes and the instructions on how to turn off the seat belt minder chime may vary from year to year. I found that the instructions for a 2004 Explorer were a little different than the ones for my 2005 Explorer. There are posts in here with the instructions on how to turn off the seat belt chime. Just use the search box at the top of the forum and type in something like "how to disable the seat belt chime" and it will pull up those posts for you or use the Ford manual link "Swshawaii" gave to you and use the exact instructions for your year Explorer. The instructions may seem a little goofy just to turn off a simple, annoying chime, but they work, so follow the instructions to the letter and complete them in the time frame they give and you will soon be "seat belt chime free"! Now if I can just get rid of that "key in the ignition chime or the startup chime" and I'll be good to go. These trucks have more chimes than a church on Sunday.
