when driving at 70-80 the explorer seems hard to keep in a strait line it well it is harder than it used to be. i still have to get my wheels aligned after my torsion twist could this be the cause or could it be something more. shocks are 3 months old however no suspention parts have been replaced except for a upper control arm. do you guys think it could be the ball joints or something.

my truck's all stock and is very stable and strong feeling at 95+mph..but you are lifted and such..i don't really know why your's is like this

I also would assume that because of the setup which is geared towards slower driving, that you should have this problem.

Being up there send air in places like never before.

Plus any body sway is then multiplied by hieght.

I think from now on your speed should be in the 55 - 66mph range.

the thing is a week ago it was perfectly stable at 95

I guess you already checked the air pressure in all 4s'?!
Also that they are wearing even?!

It could be the groove on the road. I get that a lot on the highway on my way home from work. It always happens in the same stretch on the road that is how I know it is not my truck but the groove.

ya i will try a different road and report back

ok it was the road and all is well now
