serp belt and fuel filter (easy question)

i went in to have my recall on my throttle body fixed (sticking) and they gave me back a "report card" on my car. they had everything green and good to go except my serpentine belt and my fuel filter. i am fairly handy with cars, i just installed my new billet grille myself and have done most of my work myself. is it hard to replace the belt? do you need any special tools? and also what about the fuel filter.. should i just let them do both for the 130$ they wanna charge or should i try doing it myself??

Well foir that price...let them do it... Belt goes for at least 30$ and the filter about the same...so for a bit more...it would be done easily..

The belt and fuel filter are easy to replace. the routing guide for the belt is under the hood and you only need a 3/8" ratchet to retract the belt tensioner and loosen up the belt. as for the fuel filter you're going to need a fuel line tool but you can pick then up for about 10 bucks at any auto parts store. The fuel filters are only about 15-20 dollars. You can save your self a few bills if you do the work yourself and neither one of them should take you too long to do. If you dont have one already get your self a chiltons manual, they can be a big help for that sorta stuff.
