I have an '03 XLS with 70k on the meter. I have found quite a few members here that have the A/C blower mixing problem. Mine will send air only through the defrost vents when it is on MAX and on high speed. Any other selection or speed it works great. I have also noticed that upon WOT, I can here a very noticable squeal coming from behind the Radio/HVAC Panel. Vacuum leak maybe? How would I check it out? My other question is what would cause my Cruise Control not to engage and the ABS Light to come on at the same time? This only happened for one day last week and has not returned. I am at a loss. I did figure out that my brake lights would not function nor would it cancel my cruise control a couple of months ago. I took the harness loose from the brake switch and bent the pins in a little and cleaned the contacts. I would greatly take any advice that is given.
