Some strange problems

I am having problems involving seemingly unrelated things. I have posted here because I have modified my explorer and do not know if this would effect my problems. I also have a door from a 94 installed but not hooked up right now.(Mine`s a 91 eddie)
My problems include(but are probably not limited to):
No left turn signal while headlights are on(just stays solid)
No cruise control while headlights are on
Dash backlight and parking lights come on anytime brakes are depressed
Left turn signal makes dash lights blink(with headlights off)
Thats all I can think of right now but there are more.
Any Ideas on what might be causing my problems?

Bad grounds....

Check the grounds above the parking brake, and on the passenger side kick plate area (must remove the plastic kick plate to see it)

There are numerous 'grounds' on the Explorer chassis, but I would start with those, as those are the MAIN ones for the Dash/ and interior lights.

As Spdrcer34 said it is a bad ground. My guess it is the left rear tail light or left front by what you explained.
I will try to explain a little bit. When the tail ligths are on and the bulb has no ground the power in a 2 filament bulb (since both filiments in a 2 filiment bulb share the same ground) power will continue through the brake lights (and turn signals because they use same filament) to a ground. And vise versa when the brake ligths (or turn signals) are on. Hope I made sense.

I agree with the bad ground idea, however, it may be worse than that. If the ground cleaning doesn't fix it, start checking your wire harness for a burned section or a pinched section. You stated that you have made mods. Is it possible that you pinched some wires or put a screw into some wires?
