Hey-
I am looking for some shackles for my girlfriends jeep and need to know if anyone has ever used 2" lift shackles on the front of a vehicle? It is an '89 YJ- I know the warrior shackles lift the rear about 2 in, but is that too much for the front?

Thanks for any info or insight

I myself don't like longer shackles. They stick down too much and ruin your departure angle. However, they are a cheap lift. Keep in mind that a 2" lift means that the shackles are 4"s longer than stock. You may want to measure first.

what would i need to measure? I only do mud and sand for the most part so approach/ departure angles aren't as important as to stop the tires rubbing for cheap.

If you don't care about the aproach and departure angles then go ahead and get them. They are a cheap lift!

make sure to get QUALITY shackles though.... at that much lift you dont want your axle to be ripping itself apart from the frame in the middle of nowhere

They are 3/8" plate steel, so the strength should be ok- right? My worry is pinion angles and such
Any personal experience?
By the way they are $60 shipped-
