how much is too much?

I recently installed a K&N drop in air filter on my 93 explorer and its still not as powerful as i'd like Dead Link Removed so i was interested in getting a new induction system, like the KKM that was reviewed in this website. This may be a dumb question, but i was wondering if having both of these devices installed at the same time is bad. Also, on a lighter note, the same car celebrated its 75,000th mile today, without any major problems!

ritzy, the KKM takes place of the stock air box all togather. So you can't have bolth. The KKM will flow air better then the air box will, but the air will be hot air from the engin compartment. My dad put the KKM on his 99EB and likes it a lot. He has done nothing elts to it. If you are looking for a big differance in performance you should look in to a chip. Hope this helps.
