Shaving Emblems

When you take the emblems of on the ex will there be holes. My dad said its iffy some will leave holes and some won't. Feedback please !

My 99 did not have any holes when I removed the badges.

'99+ models don't have holes.

I think 98 was the first year of no holes. Thats the year they changed to the individual letters instead of the big long plastic ones. Mine were glued on.
