what is a better shift kit, a vavle body one like a TransGo, or an electronic on, like the B&M ShiftPlus?? Do they give similar results?? Obviously the ShiftPlus is an easier install.

I was once told NOT to install a shift kit in a tranny with over 50,000 miles b/c the clutchs are already worn a bit and the increase in line pressur ewill cause them to wear faster, any truth to this??

Thanks a lot.

well I did a search and found tons of info, I was leaning towards the B&M ShiftPlus mainly b/c I am not really looking for a performance upgrade, just a way to make the tranny last longer, and firming up the shifts should do that. This is my wifes car, if it was MY daily driver I'd have a full race shift kit, supercharger, etc, but thats another story. I only drive it once in a while and hate the mushy shifts, if the B&M firms them up a bit, I think I'll be happy.

Any other opinions...

I recommend the shiftplus, it's a quick install and it really helps the shifts, it makes it more fun to drive.
