in my bII i have a bw1350,it wasent shifting into 4low. n e who me and 410 came up with the idea to change it out with a shifter motor from a bw1354.well i did the swap and i got 4low but it would never disengage.i disconnected the battery.disconneced the harneess several times but it would nevr reset or dissengage.so i swapped back to the 1350 shifter motor and it says it's in 4h but it feel like it in 2wd.im kinda lost,i wanna fix it with wht i have.i also have a manual tcase for the bII but i dont know if it'll just bolt up .should i just buy a new shifter motor and swapp it.if i do what is the proper way to do it it.should i put it in neutral before i uninstall, and disconnect the battery.i dont know?....help.

LOL you didnt even give your thread 12 full hrs and you're bumping it already?

If you're unsure a shift motor is working on the 1350/1354 electric, remove it from the transfer case but keep the electrical connections connected. The shift motor should rotate to the right position as you move the rotary switch on the dash.
