shifter replacement, is there a thread on it?

I bought a new shifter assembly to replace my chrome peeling handle.
is there a thread with replacement info?
I have the manuals here but a hands on is always better then chasing the book

Did you mean the whole shifter assembly? It holds to the body floor by four studs. You will need to remove the center console and the handrest assembly to get it

yeah, that minivan shifter looks hideous to me.

probably best to do the swap with a new shift cable bracket on hand, pn 4C3Z7H181AA or DORMAN 14913. I tried to remove it gently following a youtube video with 2 picks prying the locking tabs up but a corner still broke on it.
I disassembled way more of the console then I needed to. I think you need to remove the six 10mm screws and it will all come out in one piece
