Shifting from park to reverse

Hi all!
So when I move the shifter from park to reverse it doesn't go into gear but from drive to reverse it does?
Help
 






You might have a bad shift cable. The video below shows how to replace it.

 






Thank you I'll give it a try. It doesn't show how it goes underneath but hopefully I can figure it out
