Anyone know of a good company to get Shocks for my 2001 Sport. I want some for race applications for good handling and ride. If anyone has any ideas that would be real helpfull.

Since you are lowered, I would go with the Edelbrock ISA for lowered Explorers; I have em on my lowered truck and they are great.

Good luck.....

I second the Edelbrocks! I'm not lowered.....YET!

Thanks i was thinking aout the Edelbrock shocks thats great that you guys think so as well. I'm not sure if my local Performance shop has them but i'll check. Thanks again

I bought the Monroe SensaTracs and they've been great on and offf road. But Sears has the Moroe Sensatracts with free installation, and also the Rancho 5000 and 9000, and the Monroe Reflex shocks three for one.

SO I guess it depends on how much you want to spend etc.

I do not know if this sales is out side of Southern Ca, but ith might be worth looking into

Good Luck on what ever you get

how did you lower your front 2 inch?

Well the STEEDA lowering kit is for a racing stance. It calls for a new leaf spring kit in te back 1 1/2 in and to pull the torsion bar bolts out. Thats how it was put down 2 inches. I haven'thad any problems as of yet but will post any prolems if i have any. Plus i can always put them back in right.
