Ive got a 1998 V8 xlt explorer with about 102000 miles on it. Im sorta getting tired of putting money in my gas guzzler. After the transfercase went south and i had to replace that i started thinking about gettin rid of it. I was either thinkin a nice Audi A4 or maybe gettin an f250 ext cab with a six speed manual. what do u guys think?

If I was in your shoes, I would trade in the Explorer for an brand new Audi A4 cause I love them. But I figure you'll make the best choice for you.

well im always for getting something new when im bored of it. i still have about 2 years of mods to do to this one before im bored of it. go for something new.

get a car that you will be happy with

Heck I'd get the F250 6 speed (with a Powerstroke diesel if it were me!)

Well I would keep te V8 explorer if it was me. I got a 6 and would die for an 8. A bit high mileage, but those trucks last. I say keep the X

hell yeah!! my neighbor has an F350 turbo diesel extended cab with an 8ft bed. It's huge!! I went from New York to Mississippi with him in it pulling his 29' fishing boat. We were as long as the big rigs. It didnt even feel like we were pulling anything... except when it was windy, then you could feel a little sway. He gets a new one every year and they are always better than the last one. I dont know what he is gonna get next year because he doesnt want a dually and he doesnt want 4 doors... so maybe he will hang onto this one.
