shower drain intake

so i went and got the intake and now my truck lopes as if i had a racing cam in it, and alot of gas is coming out of my exhaust, has anyone done this and had this happen to them?

i would say maybe put the stock **** back on!!!! or buy the right stuff for the k&n air filter. maybe even use one of the k&n "look a likes" at auto zone with the metal base that you can bolt the mass air flow directly to it. i think the PVC isn't going to last long near or around automotive bi-products and or engine temps.
