Side Markers

Has anyone ever installed side markers(blinkers) on their Sport Trac?

I have a STA and was thinking about customizing something to work around or in the side grill. Any ideas?

I have a set of THESE to install on the fenders but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I believe the side blinkers are of real value for safety. I'm on the highway all week and they are certainly noticeable on vehicles changing lanes in traffic. My Transit Connect has them OEM.

I don't think they would be nearly as effective if they were "in" the fender grilles though.

After a little more research..I am also interested in the Muth signal mirrors. Has anyone installed these on their 2008 or newer Sport Trac?

Muth mirrors are nice but they had real problems with them on the '00-'01 F150's (they were Fords supplier of the signal mirror) with the reflective surface peeling off the backside. I guess they fixed the problem, even replaced lots of mirrors for free, but they are a bit overpriced ......IMO.
