Side view mirror fell off...

Hey guys, this is my first post, but I have been lurking around for a few months.

The other day my wife handed me the mirror from the drivers side, just the mirror. I tried re-attatching it, but it appears as though a mount broke, so it won't stay on. It is a power mirror and I need to know if I can just replace the reflective glass part or do I need an entire new assembly?

If I need a new assembly I'm guessing its going to be expensive unless I can get one from a junk yard.

I never seen the backing of the mirror or the inside of the housing. Is it something that can be glued back on? I know there are some strong glue out there that holds glass to any surface, permanently.

Well, I could glue it back on, but the issue is that it is a power adjustable mirror, so it needs to swivel.

I'm going to call around and see how much a complete side view mirror assembly costs.
