Side-View Mirror Differences

So the LEDs wern't bright enough to shine through the stock 2nd gen glass?

Oh ok thanks for clearing that up. Im gonna use 14,000mcd LEDs so they should be bright enough.

Yeah those should work fine. I think the Muths are 12000. Make SURE you angle them to suffice for your mirror angle. When I have my mirrors properly aimed the LED's from inside are at a strange angle but from behind they are perfect.

They are only 15º LEDs, do you think I will run into problems with that?

I think you'll be fine with the LED's, but you need to drill the holes at an angle.

Before you hook up the puddle lights, do yourself a favor and change the bulbs. I have the aftermarket w/ puddle lights, and the bulbs they come with are cheap sh&%. They both blew within the first week, and when they blew they melted themselves to the plastic housing inside. I was able to repair them, but I'd have gladly spent the extra $4 to replace them before if I had known.
