I searched but can't find the info.
Can someone give me the basics on the replacement steps. I believe the door panel has to come off but not sure how. Thanks!

Door panel has to come off. IIRC, there are 3 screws in the panel that have to come out first. One is up by the mirror, and the other two are in the arm rest. Pull those out, then pop the panel loose by working around the edges to pull it back (Held on by push pins around the bottom and sides). Once all the push pins are loose, you should be able to first tilt the panel out to clear the door pull, then up to pop it off the window frame. The mirror is held on by 3 nuts that you can get to through access holes.

I don't remember if the mirror has it's own connector or not....

yes the mirros has its own connector. It is behind the speaker. The mirror is held on with 11mm nuts

Locating Part number

I know this is an old post, but I need to replace the driver's side mirror and was wondering how I can determine the exact part number I need in order to get the right replacement part.

Is there a recommended internet vendor for replacment parts of this nature?

i bought mine off of ebay
