Sirius Antenna and box

I just got a pioneer HU and sirius add on. Any ideas on where to mount the box? Its about 5x6 in. Ive looked at the area under the dash by the passenger side feet, and it looks pretty crowded under there. Any ideas where to mount it? I dont want to put it under a seat. I also dont want to cut up anything.

Also, they say to put the antenna on the back near the hatch. Would it be ok to put it on the hood somewhere? Seems easier that way. I dont want to mess up the reception. Also, wouldnt my roof rack kill the reception?

I put the reviever under my passenger seat.
With the seat all the way back it is invisible.

My antena is on the back of the truck hidden by the wing.
I have no roof rack, but I can assure you unless you put the antanna directly under the rack it will not be an issue.

I would not put it on the hood.
I think that would not look too cool.

Dont go the easy route, go the looks good and done right route.

I mounted the antenna on the roof where it was supposed to go. Surprisingly (or not) the hood is not metal so the magnet would not stick. I ran a fish tape through the roof and down the a pillar. Cant see the wire anywhere unless you look for it back by the rear hatch. The sirius box went in the glove box. I really didnt want anything on the floors. The box is mounted on the rear wall of the glove box. Works surprisingly well. Seems If I moved it over I could fit an Ipod box in there as well.

I mounted mine next to my reciever on the metal dash support inside. If you need the glovebox back some day. Goodluck
