Well shoot, if y'all wanna make it a 3 day thing (which I'm all for), we might as well make this for the first weekend in September and aim for Labor day, yes? There will be runs to paragon, Raush Creek and other places between now and then I'm sure......

Labor day camping might be difficult. Get resv.'s in asap.
I have a crap load of camping gear.
I have a two perosn tent,
a six person tent and a condo
that will fit about eight.
I am 99% in. Get a date asap though.
If memory serves me correct there is a Yogi Bear camp ground associalted with Six Flags. It has been quite a wile but I camped there once upon a time.
I also believe we can get group discount at Six Flags as well.

Sounds like it would be great fun...I would drive out there and go with ya'll, but I don't know if i will be back from Kosovo yet and i have already made plans to go to Padre Island for a week or two on the 19th... 
just gonna load up the X and go with a couple buddies, and camp on the beach, maybe stay in my aunt's sailboat. Should be fun!! Isn't there a six flags in texas?? maybe we could hook up with some of you texans while we are down there, we'll be in ft hood a couple of days visiting too...

RocksX, I think you're confused a little there, buddy. We're meeting up at 6 Flags in NEW JERSEY! Texplorer (Bobby) is our "foreign correspondant" for the nutball Texas crew while he's stuck in Brooklyn, Nyc.... we all live in MidAtlantic states, lol.
As for the date, I'm going to say the weekend of July 31-August 1st (sat and sun), how's that? I really can't afford to take off an extra day and I'm pretty sure the rest of you are just as laid up right now paycheck wise. Labor day weekend would be fun, but Monmix is right, it'll be crowded as all hell. Let's say saturday the 31st for 6 flags, and camping at the Yogi Bear campground that night. I'll try and get reservations, if that's what you guys want to do.
I'm still at a loss what to do Sunday for a sport truck cruise though! NEED IDEAS, people! (I'm all for lounging around on beach sand all day though...I miss the Ocean!)

that date is good for me..cause my schedule hasnt been made up yet to those dates..so i can still squeeze in off next to my name at work..then we can celebrate my b-day early since its that followin friday (the 6th) wahoo for me...and oohhhh how the beach sounds nice right now...i'm so beach deprived that it hurts...anyway..lets try those dates shall we...
