I STILL HAVE YET TO LIFT MY X AND I AM PROBABLY GOING TO BUY SKYJACKER. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I GET A 4 OR 6" LIFT. I AM ALSO DOING A 302 AND TRANNY SWAP SO I WILL NEED TO HAVE A BODY LIFT TOO. IF I GET THE 6" LIFT WILL IT BE TOO TOP HEAVY? THE LAST THING I NEED IS TO BE ON MY ROOF ON MY WAY TO A HOCKEY GAME. ALSO HOW MUCH DOES A LIFT EFFECT YOUR DAILY DRIVING. I DONT DRAG RACE THROOUGH S-CURVES WITH MY X BUT I DO ALOT OF HIGHWAY DRIVING AS WELL AS OFF-ROADING. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST COMBINATION? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Look at Matt Adam's "X". You will get a lot of info from his rig. He's got a lot of mods. I'd go for 6. You'll always want more.

I just bought the skyjacker 6 inch lift for my 94 ...the only thing is, is that they dont sell the 6 inch rear springs. So its just best do to a SOA. And its a hell of a lot cheaper too. Im also gonna purchase a 2 inch body lift too. The reason I choose 2 over 3 is because some people, not everyone, have trouble with the steering with the 3 inch body.

Where are you looking to purchase your and how much are they charging for the 6 inch. I might be able to get you a better deal

As little as possible

You can run 35s with a 4" and 6" lift with the bodylift, the difference is in how much fender you'll have to trim. I'd go with the 4" lift and trim the fenders to clear.

If your in the market, I've got a set of trailmaster 4" leafs, and a set of skyjacker 6" leafs. Neither of them are sagging.
