- 2017 Sport 3.5 litre ecob
Hi , my 2017 sport 3.5 ecoboost is exhibiting hic ups , hesitations whatever you want to call it at high speed 80-100 km/hr in 6 th gear when accelerating. The situation is worse up hill. When down shifting it largely goes away or not noticeable. Anything less than 2000 rpm and you can feel it consistently. I’d swear it gets worse when wet out. I’ve changed the plugs no and coil packs. There are not issues on acceleration from stop or cruising around town stop and go. MAP was cleaned. O2 sensors original and no codes. I don’t think I’m the only one with this issue. I need some help with this. It feels to me to be fuel/air issue as opposed to spark. Don’t think it is is a transmission matter. I had a similar issue in my ford f150 2014 but was able to fix that with new plugs coil pack and drilled the intertcooler . Good advice welcome. Thank you
