To make a long story short, I've owned my Explorer for less than 2 months, and 5 weeks of that it was down for the count. 2 days after I bought it, the timing chains failed, I lost all oil pressure and the motor blew. So, I bought a used one to replace it from a local junkyard with 77,000 miles on it for a reasonable price. Installed it, and everything seemed to run good for the first 3 days. On the forth day I noticed a slight ticking that seems to be coming from the passenger side. Its not extremely loud or anything, and doesn't affect performance at all. I'm looking for any ideas on what it could be, although I'm kinda afraid it may be the tensioner starting to go bad. Any other ideas? Or does everyone think for sure that I'm going to have to rip this motor apart and do a timing chain job on it??

Its probably that rear tensioner, I have seen them brake as early was 50k mi. Crappy thing is you have to pull the motor back out to do it.
