ok i have decided to go shackles in the rear. and have been searching all morning for the difference between F150 coil seat and spacers. i want a 2wd i know that but there have been different years discussed. anywhere from 88-95. I hope i can get them for $5.30 like someone else did.

My questions:
do I want coil seats or spacers?
what years will fit directly without any fab work?
about how long did it take you to install?
what tools will in need at the u-pull-it?

If there is a thread that answers all these just shoot me a link. I have looked but cannot find all answers.

so i need coil seats (not spacers)
1-1/8" standard wrench
T-30 Star driver (what is this)
standard tool box i keep in the back anyway

still need conformation on what years will work (will be going to junkyard)

I think the T30 star driver is a Torx driver. You know, they've got flat heads, philips, allen (hex-heads) and torx. It's got like 6 points i think? typical sizes go as 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 27, 30. And you can get em as drivers like screwdrivers, or sockets, probably some other ways.
