Nice!

i like the street symbol, where did you get it?

I need to find one that says cobra or something like that once I get my cobra r's( whenever that is!)

it was custom, try doing a search for it

OK, Thanks!

How is the durability holding up on those? Have you washed them yet? Just curious to see how it holds up. Looks great tho.

is this process reversible in any way?

sure it is buy extra lights ;)

jt1970m Don't know yet, holding up good after one day. I know a few other people have them and had no problmes. I think it is like a dye and will not come off.

jssong No the type I have is permanent and does not come off. They have some kind that peels off.

kingsleysurfI am still crossing my fingers for some CF Altizzas or what ever the next best thing is.

The truck looks really nice and tuff and I love the rims, street emblem and saleen wing. That is a real cool way to tint the lights. Around here in Wisconsin that would get me pulled over because the lights are too dark they would say. I got pulled over for my windows and they are of the legal limit. I told the cop that and he said no there not and if he see's me cruzin around again he will give me a ticket. Needless to say, I still have the windows tinted and still never got a ticket. He was a real ***** some moran in his upper 30's trying to push his weight around. Not going to work with me though because I changed the hole look of my truck and he wouldn't even reconize it anymore. I went from off road look to a more sleek street look.:D

Looks amazing Matt, You have made me want to tint my tails. You dont mind if your not the only 2001 sport out there with smoked tails... do you? :)

Sure he cares, just like the first person with altezzas care. So you can't do it.

:D :D
What about a 4-door with smoked tails?
j/k

Na, I don't care. I don't think we will ever pull up to a stop light beside eachother! LOL For real if you like it JUST DO IT! swoosh That is the highest form of flatery.

Thanks for the compliments!

I used "night shades" spray to tint mine... its been on there for about 2 years now and not one sign of it wearing off... holds up awesome and looks great.

If you do want to remove it.... just hit the lights with 800 then 1500 grit sand paper and the buff with polish.... they will look like brand new stock lights again

no at all- lol

I'd be lost without your write ups, 'Magic :D

They look sharp! Where did you get the spray from and how much did it cost? Any probs with it so far?

I ask because I got a pair of clear altezzas off a wreck and I'm debating if I should sell them or spray them and keep them ;) I don't want clear or chrome on my black X.

OOOH! I just had another idea...

Anybody think a light coat of spray on headlights and clear corners would look good??? Not too much, to keep it legal of course, but enough to get that new model Mustang smoked glass look....

Think??
