Snowbash for Northeast/Midatlantic?

front axle is out of the doner, I think im gonna rip the body off of the truck and make a trailer out of it.... I dunno....

Spas, if you want to design something go ahead, just try to keep it simple.

I was coming home from work today and i got smoked my a lifted chebbie jukon. I NEED GEARS.

frontend 4:10's will be avalible this week Doug!

Man, sent that dude a down payment, and will have the rest by monday, but he wants to set up the swap for next Saturday. I don't want to wait that freakin' long. I went by and looked at it today since I knew his address and he lives in queens I drove down his street and just spent some quality time with it (not to mention showing it off to my friend Lev). I can't wait another week, I want now.
List of what will be needed:
-4.56 gears (why not)
-powertrax noslip
-100mm tortian bar bolts
-New rear spring pearches for SOA
-15X10 black AR wheels
-35X12.5 something tires
-borrow my neighbor's Sawsall, whizwheel, and big ass hammer.

Now this may sound stupid, but I feel like I'm copying Lizzard (which I am) and I feel like I might offend Lizzard by going the same track. Wait, he's gonna have a SFA now, screw it, his will always rock harder than mine. Damn, well it's late and I'm rambling, off to dream about more and more and more mods.

Dam Matt sounds like your in "Love" dont put your girl friend second :D . Your making a little Lizard, and your truck is Green too. Will be ready to go wheeling in October at Paragon?

matt correct me if i am wrong but for second gens i dont think they have a 4:56 for front.... i thought it was 4:88's dunno but if you are gonna go 35's i would do 4:88's insted.... definatly. 4:88's in front will be like your X stock with 4:10s pretty much....

Darren, it came with a 3" body lift! Something I don't have to worry about. Stock it came with the same gears my other one had which was 3.27s, so yeah, either 4.56 or 4.88's should be good. The 4.56s will make it drive like my new 3.73 in my other truck. Wow, that's alot of math.

Where's the best place to pick up some shakles. I think for the time being, I'm going to do a TT and shakles just to get it up there a little bit.

Oh yeah, Chris, are you going to be selling your old front skidplate once the SFA's in?

i think there is also a no slip for the fron now... but i wouldnt recomend it cause youll have snow where you are...

Did you say powertrax noslip for the 95+ Dana 35?

Sorry Andrew, I missed your post earlier. Hell yeah I'll be ready, I'll be ready be next weekend. I just called Desert Rat and ordered some shakles. The body lift alone fits the 33s, but I'd rather have some room for some flex, (not to mention make it taller) I added it all up, after the TT/Shakles the new truck will stand 9" taller than my other one.
Black and White, both evil.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention, tomorrow morning me and my neighbor are going to pick up a Bronco II for free. This guy said the tranny failed and he doesn't feel like fixing it. I don't know what year it is, but I think I read that the 89 or 90 BII had the 1354 manual Tcase. Would that be a worthwile swap? What would be the advatage to the manual over the electronic?

The 1354e doesnt have the control-trac 4wd which means it doesn have an internal differental and clutch mechanism. Are you sure the BII has a 1354? Im pretty sure alot of them came with the smaller 1350.

I never thought that cutting a truck apart was so much work, anyway, I got the axle out, it has 2:73 gears in it so Ill be swapping them out... along with a locker.

probably sell it. Doug, you still interested in both sets of 4:10's? if so let me know and we'll work it out.

Doug, the 1990 came with a 1354 from what I've read. Chris, you swapin' both axles or are you keeping the 8.8? Looks like you got your hands full with that isht.
Darren, are lockers up front really bad in the snow or something?

Matt, lockers up front arent bad, you just need to get a dis-engageable one, like arb or ox locker, one that can be disengaged on road.

I don't think arb or ox locker make one for the front of the 95+ Dana 35s though, do they? All I know about front lockers for the 95+ is the powertrax

Edit: I also ment to ask, Chris, what type of wheels do you have, they're the AR 767's right? Are they 15x8's w/35s? I'm looking all over, but it doesn't seem that they make the 767 15x10 with the explorer bolt pattern.
