Snowbash for Northeast/Midatlantic?

Ha! this guy doesn't know what he has!!! and there's no rub either, and he hasn't done a TT or Shakles, so like a TT (with sawsall and big ass hammer) and SOA in the rear I should fit 35s. Damn.

Look Out! The gears are turning, I can already envision dirt flying:D

yob_yeknom 32.8 = 33's. Some 33's are actually smaller than that.

most all tires are smaller than they say... if you can show me a tire that is true to size please do :D swampers are about the only off road tire that come anything close to the right size.

damn.. thats the guy... i remember him telling me he was a dentist... yeah.. those are my old tires and rims... lmao... thats funny... that truck was in good shape as far as I remember. hes a good guy. I believe his name on ebay was greektooth... too funny!

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! I'M IN THE CLUB NOW!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!

WTG!!! now you also have a winter vehicial... see what kinda gears it got... cause i have set of 3:73's with l/s. im petty sure you can use the LS unit with the 4:10's also.... someone correct me if i am wrong....

Well, unfortunatly it's got the 3.27 open. But I think one of the first things to be upgraded will be a set of 4.56's with a powertrax no slip in the rear. The 33's still have a lot of life left in them, so after that I'm not sure. Eventually I think I'd like to have the SOA in the back with leafpacks from an old 4 door with like a superlift 5.5 up front (Or could go the lizard trac bigger tortian bar bolts) But 33s should do me fine for a while.

thought they were 31's? your only lift option would be the 4" from super lift.... but you can adjust you tortion bolts after the lift for the extra 1.5 inches to make up for the soa.... then do a 3" body lift and boo ya 35's

285/75 R16

Whut the hell....? Mine are 285/75/R17 and I thought they equaled out to 31" or so  ....Did I miss something???

Congrats Matt!!!! Now if you just do some kind of matching paint scheme (cough cough Stripes! cough cough) you could have photonegative explorers! lol

Jeezus...I have to work a little harder on either buying a beater or finding some more sport owners to hang with, lol

Welcome young grasshopper son....

your gonna love those tires. your blessed to have tires once owned by the great lizard one under your truck!

In other news... I think im gonna need some help gettin the site back up, if anyone is interested in donating some time to help out it would be greatly appreciated. Im also trying to come up with a new logo for "XX" if anyone has any ideas let me know.

I would like to get a run up here sometime in oct to try out my SAS. if anyone is interested let me know.

Chris are you doing the sas this weekend? If we're going wheeling next month i guess id better get my new ball joints mine are in real bad shape. I think once i get payed im gonna go pick up some new upper and lower ball joints then get an alignment. Ive also need new shocks i think im gonna get so rancho rs9000s. I got a relay and a switch and ill set it up so i can have 2wd.

Doug, I was thinkin bout wheelin this sat or sun, maybe sat and start the SAS on sunday... I dunno...

Lindsey, you have 285/60 R17s which equal out to 30.5 inches. Take 285mm convert it to inches (11.22) that's your section width. Then multiply that number by .60 and you get 6.732, that's your section height. Mulitply that number by 2 and add it to your rim size and you get 30.464.

Lizzard,
I can offer some assistance to the site, what do you need?

Chris, Im working all this weekend but ive got tuesday and thursday off and i could come up one of those days if you want. I might also be able to get next weekend off so let me know. I gotta do ball joints some time next week theyre getting really bad. Also let me know if there is anything i can do for the site.

I offered a while ago..........Offer still stands

Matt, now you can follow the rest of us nut jobs:D Chris, I don't think I can wheel this w/e, but I just got an unexpected check from my old job, can you say BL, and either new driveshaft or cross member?:D I think I'm gonna pick up a set of used 33's at a used tire place. Doug, get your parts, and we'll knock your truck out this week.

thanx for the offers everyone, Ill let ya know when I need the help, but as for this weekend, I found someone to take the remains of my doner truck away, this sunday, so now I gotta bust my ass and get the axles out, and cut the truck up to be removed... what a pain....

Seems like evrybody's got their work cut out for them here lately :D

I got my new used W6 yesterday....and was horrified to discover that not only is it one hell of a lot newer than the only un-blown one I have, but it's also a lot bigger and better than it. Which means that now I have to sell the old one to get a newer one to match...>SIGH< I'm never gonna get this damn box built!

Slapnuts, if you need a logo design, I'll volunteer for the job-what did you have in mind?

Ciao, everybody-I'm off to be a biker chick for the weekend! Oh joy....
