How ruff is the ride after you put the add a leaf on there?? I was wondering also I have warriors on there, and how will this affect towing with the explorer with a add a leaf and warriors? And what should I do about the small a$$ bolt that they give you with the add a leaf??

After adding the AAL to my '94 it was definately noticable. I have the AAL and shackels and I have towed somewhat. I didn't notice much if anything of a difference in towing. As far as the center bolt my AAL came with bigger bolts than what everybody else talks about, so I don't know too much about the smaller bolt. Hope this helps.

How rough was the ride?? What kinda AAL do you have? How much did it lift your truck?

I have an add a leaf it lifted my truck the 2 inches it said it would, definetily rides firmer helped towing cause my ass end dont sag nor float i didnt know you could do a shackle lift and a add-a-leaf that puts you up there in the back what are you doing for the front?

You really notice the roughness of the ride on rough roads. On the highway you can't really even tell. I can't really say how much rougher it is from stock because I expected it to be rough. If I had to rate from stock on a scale of 1-10, 1 being Cadillac ride 10 being a tank, I would rate stock a 5 and with AAL a 7. The AAL I have is the pro-comp AAL. I got it with a kit from Ebay, That might be why the bolt I got was fine for the leaf pack. The total amount of lift I got was about 1.25 inches. When I got done the back was lowere than the front. I purchased shackles from a member here on the board and that brought the back up another 1.5 inches. It has a little bit of a rake but the space between the tires and the top of the wheel wells is the same distance almost. It looks good, I think.

hmm i see your trucks ass was saggin i bought the same kit on ebay and actually measured before and after to see how much it lifted i got 2 inches and my ass end has no sag so if i put a shackle lift my nose would be lower

Okay so I have done the shackles in the rear and it raised it up quite a bit. I also have added diferent blocks that were worth about .5 inch and today or tom i am about to add another leaf. So the rear is going to beup there. Is this ok to do??? I also heard about these bushing things you can add to your truck, so that when you put a plow or heavy trailer on it eliminates the sag, anybody ever use these??? Think they are Bermsien or something??
